Access
- 10.87.209.197
- se-demo10 sedemo10 se-demo-10 se-demo-target10
- zenmonitor / Zenoss123!
- Host:
- ucs1-3-7.zenoss.loc
- ucs1-3-8.zenoss.loc
- 1 core, 1.8G RAM
Tools
fast_access.sh
Slowly Fills the / (root) folder with files, creating high I/O by creating and deleting files while retaining a small portion (1 out of 100 by default). File retention and run time set internally.
/home/zenmonitor/bin/fast_access.sh
Notes
- vMotion does not appear to do anything other than move the vm from one vCenter host to another. No noticeable increase in load as was assumed by the “generate load” option on the admin page.
- Using the Disk Load from the admin page also greatly increases cpu loads (4+)
- stress-ng-hdd (multi-threaded?)
The Story
se-demo-nutanix01? –
- Cluster for the se devices?
- Possibly monitoring a website
- Relationships between demo servers unknown since you can only affect the host under your control.
